The SRAM RED AXS XG-1290 cassette is an integral part of the RED AXS drivetrain system. With a 10-tooth small cog and X-Range gearing, it progresses fluidly and quickly through a wide range of gears. Carefully chosen tooth jumps keep the rider in the right gear when you’re out of the saddle on steep climbs and making fine changes to hold a wheel while approaching a sprint. These cassettes are designed specifically for wireless electronic shifting, and the one-piece design offers exceptional weight savings. T47 is a standard created by custom frame builders. It’s threaded, has an inner diameter of 47mm, and is 68mm wide. It has the design benefits of being oversized and wide, but also the practical benefits of threads. This kit pairs those bb’s with 30mm spindle cranks. The cups have CeramicSpeed bearings pressed in. There are two bearing options. The Standard Bearing has CeramicSpeed Balls and hardened-steel races. The Coated Bearing has the same balls running on a 3-micron thick coating placed on top of those hardened-steel races for greater durability and less friction still. BBright is the Cervelo bottom bracket standard found on most of their frames, save the P5. In order to fit Shimano and FSA cranks into this oversized shell, this bottom bracket, complete with CeramicSpeed Bearings, needs to be pressed in. The BBright bottom bracket comes with either CeramicSpeed Standard or Coated Bearings installed. Super smooth, super-round CeramicSpeed Balls contained in hardened-steel races are found on both versions. The Coated version has a metallic coating laid onto the races, making it even smoother and harder, resulting in lower drag and longer life. BBright is similar to BB30, but is wider on the non-drive side. As such, the bottom bracket for running 24mm diameter cranks from Shimano, FSA, and others, is unique. The CeramicSpeed Standard Bearings last at least three times longer than other bearings. Thanks goes to hardened-steel races and CeramicSpeed Balls that are 100% smoother and 15% harder than the ceramic competition. These have a frictional drag of 0.3-0.4 watts per set, which represents an average 75% drag reduction compared to most BBs. The CeramicSpeed Coated Bearings reduce drag by 50% compared to CeramicSpeed Standard Bearings, and show an improvement in bearing life by 60%.
